Walking In This World – Week 3

This week is all about discovering a sense of perspective and the main topics of focus were medicine and how creativity is healing in itself, something that I’ve known for some time but it’s nice to see someone else bring it to the forefront and really it was probably the part that had me nodding hardcore with everything.

Cameron also goes into depth about how art is therapeutic and not just therapy, I’d have to say that this has to be my most favourite Week, so far. It’s perfect in every way. The last part of the chapter is how artist’s are cartographers in that they are able to map the world how they see fit. How cool is that notion?

How many days this week did you do your Morning Pages?

I feel like this is one of those things where I’m a hell no, I haven’t been feeling the pull to do Morning Pages with this workbook. I’m not sure as to why, but it’s been a bit of a slog. I did manage, about, 4ish days. I have been writing a lot less though. And mostly it’s just jumbled stuff from what’s going on in my life right now.

Did you do your Artist’s Date this week?

Yes! I actually went to the vegan cafe I adore not far from my house, and had some deliciously nourishing food. Most of my Artist’s Dates mostly centre around food…I think that’s the Greek in me.

Did you get out on your Weekly Walk?

Sadly, no. I’m still using the excuse that it’s too cold… and it is but Spring is here and I’m ready for Daylight Savings to happen.

Were there any other issues this week that felt significant to you in your self-discovery?

No, not really. I really dug the chapter but other than that it was a lot of things that I would have already classified as something that I know. Definitely finding myself getting out of my comfort zones with being active.
