Walking in this World – Week 2

This week was all about discovering a Sense of Proportion. And setting boundaries.

1. How many days this week did you do your Morning Pages?

I’ve been more inconsistent with my Morning Pages, mostly because I think I’m avoiding. Or I make the excuse that I’m too tired, so it’s been a little while. I’d probably say I only did it like 2 or 3 times. I know I need to get really moving with this. I might have to cut the three page limit to something that is more managable for me.

2. Did you do your Artist’s Date this week?

I took myself out of the house and went for lunch and a little wander around the shops.

3. Did you get out on your Weekly Walk?

Well, not in the way that JC has said to in the book. I’ve gone for walks to and from places, but I know that when it’s a little lighter it’ll be easier, at the moment it is pretty hard to go for a walk when it’s darker.

4. Were they any other issues this week that felt significant to you in your self-discovery?

I’m definitely learning about different boundaries this week. I’m pulling back and actually starting to set them to protect my creative time. It’s not working as fast as I thought it would but I know that it’s definitely something that I’m going to be working on harder. I’ve started to schedule things better.
