Walking in This World Week 10

This week was about discovering a sense of camaraderie and my honest thoughts? This week is the bomb, because it is something that we all need as writers. We need to find a cohort of people who just get us, who can be there when we are up and when we get down.

How many days this week did you do your morning pages?

Not this week, but I’m going to be picking it up as I need it. Something that I know works for me.

Did you do your Artist’s Date this week?

Well, technically ended up in lockdown again and I was still stick so I didn’t manage an Artist’s Date this week.

Did you get out on your weekly walk?

The upside of lockdown is that I finally was well enough to get out and I walked around the neighbourhood (the 5km rule was back in force) and it was fun to get out and see the new builds and the serenity of it all. For me it’s a must to walk with earphones and music. It helps keep my anxiety in check and has since I was a teenager.

Were there any other issues this week that felt significant in your self-discovery?

I also love that this week it was about finding teachers who come into our lives when we need them the most and they leave when we outgrow them. Such a poignant message.
